Fujie Shrine Festival. Every 2nd Sunday of October.
Owaki Shimeisha Shrine Grounds
A male with two horns and a female with one horn dance as one alongside six other lion cubs, which is why it is called Yatsugashira ("eight heads"). It is an independent lion dance which is rare in the western Tokai region, and it was formerly performed to pray for rain. Dantsuku is believed to be the noise the drum makes on the lion's chest.
